Frant Primary School/
Granted Planning Consent
The proposals for a new half form entry primary school in Frant, near Tunbridge Wells were approved by East Sussex County Council on 1 March 2010.
As part of ESCC Primary Capital Programme, the new single story school will provide accommodation for 105 pupils. Part of the new development will include a multi-purpose hall and ICT suite, the most prominent and distinctive part of the scheme is the gentle curving classroom block.
The building is set to go on site in April 2010

Windchimes Children’s Centre/
Success At The Kent Design Awards
On 16 March Windchimes Children’s Resource Centre, a centre for disabled children from East Kent, was awarded a “Highly Commended” recognition in the extremely competitive Public Building (schools) Category at the 2010 Kent Design Awards.

The Bridge Learning & Community Campus/
Grand Opening
It is a first for Kent and was formally opened yesterday (Tuesday 16 March) by Kevin Lynes Chair of the Kent Thameside Board, leader of Dartford Borough Council Jeremy Kite and Wayne Hemingway. The campus includes a primary school, nursery, healthcare and social services facilities, as well a small sports hall, youth and adult education centres, community room all under one roof for those living and working on the 264 acre site in Dartford.

Burnt Oak Junior School/
New School Extension
A new development at Burnt Oak Junior School in Bexley was completed on programme. This single story extension consists of a new sports hall facility, 2 new classrooms with associated storage, a multi-purpose classroom with storage, new wc facilities and general support space. It was officially opened on 16 Dec 2009 by Leader of the Council and the children created a song, poems and a stage production to celebrate their new buildings. They all love it, especially the sports hall and the size of the new classrooms compared to the existing building
