Our recently completed school hall project at Crockham Hill Primary School has been shortlisted for this years RIBA Downland Prize. A total of 95 practices in the South and South East Regions entered the competition.

Mayfield PassivHaus/
Planning Permission Granted
Planning has been granted by Wealden District Council for a highly sustainable new-build dwelling on an historic landscape setting near Mayfield.
The project has been designed in accordance with PassivHaus technology to create an airtight and highly insulated building with a ducted natural ventilation system, PV cells and evacuated tube solar thermal water heating which will deliver a healthy, efficient and highly sustainable dwelling.

Canterbury Christ Church University/
New State-of-the-Art Sports Centre Opens In Canterbury
Vice-Chancellor of Canterbury Christ Church University Professor Michael Wright, officially opened their new Sports Centre design by Hazle McCormack Young LLP. The £4M centre provides 8 court sports hall with a unique folding partition to enable the facility to be shared with the adjacent Barton Court Grammar School.
The University’s Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic), Professor Sue Piotrowski, said: “We are delighted to have developed this new sport centre for a large section of the local community who are studying, or are employed, at the University or Barton Court Grammar School. It is a magnificent facility that will provide a much needed venue for sporting competitions, for recreation and healthy exercise. It will also provide excellent teaching space for our academic programmes in Sport Science and Physical Education.”
